Our Favorite Daytona 500 Fans

The Daytona 500 is right around the corner, and I’m always amazed at the type of people that are drawn to the race. I’ve watched the race before with my dad, but a lot of people that actually go can be quite the characters. This is one of the most important races in NASCAR, so it attracts a lot of people that are really into that sort of thing. There are words associated with some of these people like ‘white trash’ and ‘rednecks.’ What you call them is for you to decide, but I’m impressed with the people who own up to the words and embrace them. The Daytona 500, besides choosing one of the best race car drivers in the country, also produces some pretty funny pictures. Granted, a lot of them have been out in the sun for a long time (500 miles definitely takes a while), but here are some of our favorites…at least they’re having fun, right?
