Beauty on a Budget: St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub

Skin exfoliating is pretty much my favorite thing ever. I didn’t think I even needed to do it until my college roommate let me borrow her scrub. Seriously, it’s the best feeling in the world. My skin was smoother than ever before and when I used my moisturizer, my face looked healthier than it had in a long time. Ever since then, I’ve been using St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub because it’s incredible and costs only about $4.

This isn’t something you want to use every day, as anyone who exfoliates will tell you. But used once or twice a week, it will smooth away any dry skin on your face and refresh your skin. I simply use it in the shower in place of my regular skin wash once a week.

This scrub has actually been written up several times in magazines for how great it works, ranking right up there with Clinique and Perricone MD brands. Also, like most of my favorite things, it lasts for so long because you only need a dime-size drop and you won’t use it every day.

Even keeping all other products the same, I recommend anyone who hasn’t exfoliated to try this scrub and it will 100% make a difference in how your skin feels and how easy it is to apply makeup.

I've used this for years! I recently was itching for a change, so I switched over to Simple, a British brand that's made for sensitive skin, but I've always got some St Ives on hand.

This product is really really nice…but definitely don't use it every day, just when you need some exfoliation!

omg! i have that exact same problem i don’t rellay know how you can tell if something is suitable for ur skin but i know St.Ives Apricot Scrub does NOT work for me. I had been using it off and on for about 10 months and i realized my pimples just wouldn’t clear away, especially after i used it. so i stopped using it for a week and all my pimples went down to tiny size and u can hardly see them anymore. y don’t u try stopping it for a week and if it gets better, its not for you.

This is probably the worst thing you could use on your skin. I talked to multiple estheticians and they told me why my face kept getting worse. The little pieces in the St. Ives products are actually made from the pits and they end up leaving tiny tiny scratches all over your face which helps to spread acne. Just trust me and don't use this product if you value your face!
