Hot or Hot Mess: Katy Perry at Miu Miu

There is just a whole lot going on in this outfit. In attendance at the Miu Miu show, Katy Perry paired a pink pleated dress with “flamed” Prada shoes and, of course, an electric blue pony tail. While I am definitely digging the purse, this outfit just isn’t working for me. There are a lot of colors, a lot of flames and the jacket just has a kind of matronly feel to it.

Perry is never one to blend in with the crowd and I commend for for that — usually I get pretty into her outfits, no matter how ridiculous they may be. I’m all for innovation, but this one just falls flat.

…But then again, who else could ever manage to pull off blue hair? Seriously, I can’t come up with anyone.

So what do you think? Is the California Girl, er gurl, hot or a hot mess?

    this is unflattering, the blue hair is getting old and tacky, and its just not ok. shes too good for this

    just focusing on the face, the dark eyebrows and light lipstick make her look a little washed-out.

    I just don't like her with other haircolor but raven black. I liked the blue wig because i knew it was a wig, but this is too much. And there's not a single thing i like about the outfit.

    I could pull off blue hair…..maybe in a couple years. Right now I'm more into purple locks.

    I think Katy Perry can get away with just about anything, She has such a pretty face it doesnt matter what she wears! I see the point about the blue hair but hey at least Katy is trying to be different than all the rest! I think it represents who she is maybe.
