Alright, ladies, it’s time to turn the tables on our last Dude’s List. Last time around I set down 11 things that y’all shouldn’t give up for Lent. Now, some were a bit general, some arguable, maybe questionable, one or two might even go down as moderately controversial, but this is where I get to give to my gender as good as yours took it. For the betterment of their own mental, physical, and emotional, health as well as those around them, here are 11 things that guys SHOULDN’T (notice the word isn’t CAN’T) give up during for 40 days of Lent.
There you have it. This list could have been longer and more ridiculous but that’ll do, pig. That’ll do. What do y’all think guys shouldn’t give up for 40 days?

Really good stuff, here. I think they shouldn't give up chivalry! Oh wait, guess the majority of men would have to have it in order for that to apply…

I know lots of guys who attempt to be chivalrous…they just learned what they knew about it from watching reruns of Saved by the Bell so it doesn't always come off as polished. Plus, where's the line between being chivalrous and undercutting the fact that a woman can take care of herself? That's always been a point of contention that I've had friends talk about, we can open a door for you but not pick the movie, we can pull out your chair but can't order for you once you've decided, and then if we're just talking about social courtesies, then what's to distinguish chivalry for women versus that kind of treatment for men, too? BRAIN FREEZE!
