I’m probably one of the most nostalgic people you’ll ever meet. I love to go back to the past and relive simpler times. Reminiscing with friends about great moments, laughing about the funny things we used to do…bring it on! It just feels good. I know some say that nostalgia is just a form of denial, but it’s not like I am denying the present. I know where I am and I’m living in the now, but I don’t see what’s so wrong in dialing back a little sometimes and taking a trip down memory lane.
Now in the spirit of the past, I’ve been thinking a lot about old gadgets, fads and concepts from when we were kids that don’t exist anymore. Even kids who are 13 right now probably won’t have heard of the things that made up my childhood, which makes me feel sad and old. I wanted to compile a list of some of the things that we all grew up with that don’t even exist anymore or will soon be extinct with each new iPad that comes out.

And Big Wheels! I was in Toys R Us recently and they're still being made and sold. I think they're one of the classic toys that will never go out of style.
