I wish I were still a small child, so that on Easter morning I could wake up to a basket full of candy. Alas, now I’m an adult, and I have to buy my own Easter candy. But that’s ok, because I can still enjoy the adorable animals that have somehow become the mascots of the holiday. To help you get ready for Easter this weekend, here are some adorable pictures of baby animals.

Baby animals and candy are not suitable Easter gifts for small children. If you must indulge them, then the Easter basket of treats would be a better option. But reduce the sweets and include trinkets and crafts. An added suggestion…Negotiate that the children have to brush after eating each piece. This will slow down the consumption rate. Colorful toothbrushes with favorite comic characters, are a great addition to an Easter basket, and add some flavored dental floss.
