20 Songs Guaranteed to Put You In a Good Mood [CC Intern Mixtape]

We all have those days when we just want to crawl under the covers and sleep for a hundred years. Our roommates and friends beg us to go out because it’s Arbor Day or some other holiday to go out and get drunk for and all we want to do it stay in and have a hot date with our Netflix queue. If you’re like me, you cannot stay in while the rest of your friends go out because you will get a bad case of ‘FOMO’ (the Fear of Missing Out). I put on some of the best pump up jams we can find and fake it ’till I make it!

Everyone needs to a go-to playlist for when they need a little pick me up and there’s no Redbull nearby. Not only do these songs work for when you’re tired, but they’ll also bust you out of the crabass mood you’re in! If you failed a test, got dumped, got fired, got a bad case of the Mondays, these songs will do the trick and help snap you out of the dumps you’re down in. From Rihanna to Bon Jovi, I have compiled a list of songs that are perky, positive and upbeat. I will guarantee that you will be nodding your head and tapping your foot or booty poppin’ somewhere during this playlist!

This was so hard to narrow down to just 20 songs, but I did my best. Happy listening!

I think Robyn- Call Your Girlfriend might be more for single girls (or girls who are super easy-going). I listened to the lyrics, my mind kinda ran away, and I had a mini heart attack. Haha.

Think this is not really the best list of songs for getting in good mood. Some are really good. Whenever I want to feel better I listen to Veronica Maggio with "Måndagsbarn" or "Välkommen in".
(I am not sweedish, but this i get first song is about Mondays, when you are not really good at all the school stuff and has partied till five o'clock, the second is about having party where everyone is invited and singing along to old records) Listen to it sweedish is beautyfull, and there are sweet music videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOBNzjoj4K0

Suddenly I See – KT Tunstall – always lifts my mood. You honestly cannot feel sad when you hear this song
Walking on Sunshine – Aly & AJ – happy song, makes you want to get up and dance

Sexy back still puts me in a want to dance mood, no matter how old or overplayed it is. My ultimate happy, cheery song is Hey soul sister by Train.
