Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! So today pretty much celebrates one of the most amazing things to ever grace this fine planet of ours — sweets! For some reason, no female can resist a good dose of chocolate (especially in cookie form!).

I remember coming home from school when I was younger, and my mom having hot cookies waiting for me and my siblings. It was pretty much coming home to heaven. I for one believe that National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day should be every day, but hey, that’s just me. Maybe oatmeal raisin is more you’re thing (which then I would advise you to seek professional help because that is just not right).

In honor of this celebratory today, I found some of the most amazing chocolate chip cookie recipes ever. Read, bake, and chow down!
