I haven't read the book myself but I really just wanted to point out that Kristen Stewart did NOT pull off Bella well. Her acting at best was lacklustre. Of course, it is hard to pull off a poorly written character like Bella, but she didn't even try to make the character seem alive.

That said, I'm willing to let her redeem herself in Snow White and the Huntsman

I think Henry Cavill Is Christian Grey! Dunhill ads on you tube say it all. He has the whole look acting chops body, blue eyes seductive look & boyish smile. He also doesn’t have a problem with steamy scenes as he has had many in Tudors. As for Ana I like Alexandra Daddario as my 1st choice she looks like the description of Ana. Brown hair, blue eyes can look innocent but would be sexy when dressed up & she is 26 so even though she can look 22, she will be able to pull off Ana as she matures emotionally & sexually. The hair issue is easy, she could just dye her hair, and the alternative would be to wear a wig, they do wonders. Amanda has the pale flawless skin and blue eyes, both of which that Anastasia has. Although I kept picturing Alison Brie when I was reading, I’m not sure of her acting skills as I’ve only seen her in community but if she can can pull it off, then she fits the description. I don’t know about this Kristen Stewart talk…I think she’s great but she doesn’t have the large goldfish eyes that Ana is portrayed as having in the book…and she’s a little too “cool” I would say for Ana, Ana seems like a bit of a goody two shoes and Kristen has this rebel aire about her that doesn’t quite fit. I pictured Rachel Evan Wood as Kate.

Amanda Seyfried would be perfect for the role of Anastasia Steele. In the book, Ana describes herself as "a pale, brown-haired girl with eyes too big for her face". Amanda Seyfried definitely has the big eyes and the flawless pale skin (though I'd disagree with the "too big for her face" part), and if she dyed her hair to a light brown (sort of like Minka Kelly's sort of brown), she'd look awesome. She's experienced in the world of acting, is slim, can definitely pull off the early-twenties thing, and I believe she can really star as the clumsy-awkward-and-doesn't-know-she's-beautiful-and-gorgeous-girl. (Alexis Bledel is pretty, but she doesn't fit the role perfectly. I don't think her eyes are big enough, and she's older than Amanda – surely a woman in her twenties and has all Ana's traits is better-fitting for the role of Ana than a woman just in her thirties and is lacking in some.)

For Christian Grey, Matt Bomer, hands down. Ian Somerhalder can play the dark and cold part of Christian Grey, no doubt, but I can't really picture him as a lusty young CEO with a BDSM fetish, you know? Matt Bomer certainly can pull off every aspect of Chrstian Grey. To dark, tortured, twisted and mysterious to a flirtatious, teasing and amused young CEO. He may be 34, but I think he can appear as a 27 year old. Who knows?
