Win a Snow White & The Huntsman Prize Pack [Giveaway]
May 29, 2012 8:00 am Posted in Cool Stuff, Giveaway Candy -- NYU g+ page
We all grew up reading and watching fairytales, and its sad to say, but we’re probably a bit too old for them now (who knew that was even possible?).
But with Snow White and the Huntsman coming out, we can finally enjoy our favorite stories guilt free! We may even seem mature while doing it, considering this movie includes action, adventure AND Oscar winning actors. And what better way to showcase your newfound maturity than flaunting your new SWATH prize pack, a (free) necklace, limited edition t-shirt, and sling bag? Oh, and don’t forget the beauty kit, lipgloss and cell-phone mirror. Its everything we could possibly want to look fab showing off our newfound adulthood.
In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.
The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders. For more information, visit their website or Facebook page.
In honor of this awesome take on Snow White, we’re giving away a SWATH prize pack featuring: Benefit Rare Beauty Kit, limited edition t-shirt, Lippman Collection SWATH nail lacquer, lip gloss, necklace, cell phone mirror, and a sling bag!

I like the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, the original version. He learns gentility and kindness while having that quite intellectual brooding thing going on.

I liked the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. I like how they made Belle smart and brave. Not just a damsel in distress.

My favorite fairytale hero & heroine are Hansel and Gretel. I love how they gave that witch a good burning dose of her own medicine.

Alice from Alice in Wonderland. She is such a strong character because this little girl managed to traverse a manic, unknown and sometimes hostile world that seemed to make up it's own rules. And she did it all on her own! Sure she had a little help from some friends but in the end it was her journey to make.

My favorite fairy tale heroine is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She is a strong character and stands up for herself and does not cave in to men but rather speaks her mind and stands up to them. She is Independent and does not rely on anyone. She is also very warm and loving which I like, she seems to care a lot and has a big heart (example: towards her father and the Beast.) She also is a character that is smart and educated.

When I was little I love Rapunzel, so much that I went through a phase where I would rather eat radishes than cookies. I think I liked her so much because even though she was locked in a tower she never lost hope that she would get her happy ending!
