So it’s that special anniversary again, the anniversary of the birth of the woman who made the song “Happy Birthday” so incredibly… sexy.

America’s sex symbol, Norma Jeane Mortenson aka Marilyn Monroe, was born June 1st, 1926. She acted, she modeled, she sang. Yes, she even had her own production company. Marilyn was a star in the complete essence of the word. She even PERSONALLY (nudge nudge) knew President Kennedy, which is a feat in itself.

Though her death was not as pretty as she was, it is clear that this blonde bombshell has not, and never will be, forgotten. I mean, check out all the celebrities who still want to be her…
