When learning another language, I always think about what ESL students have to go through when studying abroad in the US or UK. I, for one, am an abbreviating addict, so if someone was to hear me talking to a friend and they weren’t fluent in English, I might as well be speaking Klingon. One of today’s Twitter trends is #OldSchoolSlangWords, which I am dedicating to all the people who think we get too slang cray.
