What It Is:

BITE Beauty Lush Lip Tint in Lychee and Watermelon

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:

BITE Beauty is a staple lip product brand for me, and I love when they put out new products like the Lush Lip Tint. BITE says,

“This lustrous lip tint contains pure argan oil, vitamin E and fruit butters to hydrate, nourish, and revitalize lips. While delivering long-lasting color, this product works to sooth and soften the lips, making your pout extra kissable. The center B provides resveratrol, a double dose of antioxidants found in red wine. “

That sounds heavenly! I couldn’t wait to try these out and reap the benefits.

How To Use It:
Application for this one is a no-brainer, especially because they are so sheer! Simply swipe the product across your lips a few times, until you’ve reached your desired pigmentation. I’ve found no mirror is required for the lighter shades!

CC Rating: A

With the swarm of sheer lipsticks lately (Revlon Lip Butters, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, etc), it’s hard to sift through them all and come out with the winners. BITE Beauty is a great brand for lip products, because they focus on this one area and strive to do it best. For the most part, they succeed, and I’ve been happy with nearly all of the products I’ve reviewed. The same applies for the new Lush Lip Tints. I really found that they hydrated and nourished my lips with wear and didn’t suffer from the paradoxical problem of creamy lip products that actually end up drying out my lips. Lush Lip Tints feel plush and creamy, but settle down slightly so they don’t slip off my lips within an hour. I get about 3-4 hours of wear from these, which is comparable to most lipsticks that aren’t long-wearing.

The $24 price tag may be the only turnoff for some. There is 0.13oz included in each tube, while Revlon Lip Butters contain 0.09oz for $6-8 and Chanel Rouge Coco Shine’s are 0.10oz for $32. BITE Beauty Lush Lip Tints fall right in the middle of these two, in regards to price, but contain more product than either comparisons. While I haven’t tried the Coco Shines, I found the Lush Lip Tints to be slightly sheerer than the Revlon Butters, and also have better staying power. However, $24 per tube may be a bit much for some college girls to swallow.

I really like the BITE Beauty Lush Lip Tints and find them awesome for an everyday lip wear. If I want something super pigmented and opaque, I wouldn’t reach for these, but for a subtly-tinted lip for class or my day-t0-day activities, these rock. They give you a my-lips-but-better lip and actually provide some obvious benefits! You can find them at Sephora for $24 each.

Thanks for the swatches and reievw. These sound like winners based on your description and lip swatch. I will definitely check them out. They’re a more affordable option compared to Nars lip gloss sticks.
