DIY Tangle-Free Earbuds [CC Craft]

Sometimes it feels like it takes me longer to untangle my headphones than it does to do the cardio I need them for. I would say that I’m a pretty patient person, but tangled headphones are one of the few things that gets me frustrated to no end. I know I’m not alone in this, and for your sake I pinned for a solution! If you’re crafty or enjoy challenges, this project is perfect for you. So ditch high blood pressure and say hello to cute and easy headphones! They’re like that pretty girl who’s also really nice – the killer combo!

What you’ll need:

• Headphones
• Embroidery floss (found at your local arts and crafts shop)

How to razzle dazzle your headphones:

I know this project seems daunting, but if you can tie a knot, you can successfully make these headphone covers.

First get enough string to wrap three times the length of your headphones. This requires you to measure first. For example, plain Apple headphones are typically 65 inches long (earbuds included), so you’ll want to have 5 1/2 yards of string.

Next, you want to start a Chinese Staircase (the design known best from friendship bracelets!). WikiHow has the best instructions on how to do this. Essentially, you’re making a bracelet over your headphones! After all, you’re with your headphones more than your friends, anyways!

When you’re done building your headphones, cover the ends with a dab of clear nail polish so they don’t fray!
