As If Being In A Boy Band Wasn’t Enough Embarrassment

For those of you who don’t know, I grew up a huge N’SYNC fan. And when I say huge I mean obnoxious. I mean there was a friendship ended because I received a Backstreet Boys CD for my birthday. I mean I had posters and tear sheets all over my room, and I though Justin Timberlake was going to marry me. I’ve even written about my unrequited love for him. But you know, all good things must come to an end or whatever. The boy band era ended. And N’SYNC is pretty much the only boy band that hasn’t decided to reunite. This isn’t bad, y’all.

Sure, it would be nice to see N’SYNC live again serenading me with “Girlfriend” but it will never be the same. And don’t even get me started on One Direction. I can’t deal with that. Some of our favorite boy-banders have gone on to be super successful like my Justin. He’s a serious actor now. JC is still judging America’s Best Dance Crew. Lance Bass is doing whatever Lance Bass does. Chris Kirkpatrick well…he was the voice of Chip in The Fairly Odd Parents.

And Joey Fatone is running around with some model for her birthday and a bunch of dudes while wearing a “has been” shirt. OH THE IRONY!

At least he knows, I guess.
