The Boyfriend Button Down Dress

I don’t know about you, but I definitely need to go shopping for some new clothes for the fall. It’s a must!  I want to go back to school with a fresh closet, but I do have a budget. What’s a girl to do?

While searching online, I came across a look that I love and that can be made from any man’s old shirt.  It’s a dress constructed from a large button down shirt!  And guess what?  There is NO sewing involved!  How great is that?

What you’ll need:

• A man’s button down shirt (make sure it’s large!)

Easy enough so far, right?

How to transform a boring, old shirt into a fab, creative dress:

First, wrap the men’s button down around you like a towel.  Then, button it from the bottom up, to where it fits right, almost so it’s like a sweetheart neckline.  After, take the sleeves and use them to secure the shirt around you in a bow, just a little tying!  Last, just fold the collar under, and you’re done!

The best part about this look is that say, oh, you stole the shirt without your brother, dad, or boyfriend knowing… well, when you’re done wearing your dress, you can untie the bow and have it back to normal in no time!
