Ladies, it’s 2012. People are getting married and most of those people are getting divorced. What goes wrong? I want to turn the microscope on the beginning of the process. Why do people get married? All kinds of reasons. Some are perfectly rational, reasonable, and romantic. Others are reckless, impulsive, and stupid. Here are 11 that fall into the latter categories.

    • A lot of people don’t know why they’re getting married. A lot of people just do it wrapped in a self-made bubble of neuroses, psychosis, delusion, and some, just some, genuine mature love. What do you think? There’s a counterargument for every argument. There’s always a reason to say “I do” in the face of “I don’t.” Unleash Hell on me, come on, I dare you. Then ask yourself, what’s fueling the rage? Is it because you’re falling into one of these traps? Or should I just shut mine?

      This article illustrates the all the wrong reasons to get married now you have to define what mature love looks and feels so people can have more realistic criteria other than”well I’ll just get divorced”. Not so simple and very painful. Thanks Dude

      I have to agree with you there. Too many couples rush into marriage without considering the big picture, only to fall apart later on. Honestly, there should be some psychological screening in place to make sure couples are ready for the reality of married life.
