In Our Makeup Bag: LAQA & Co. Nail Polish Pens! [Giveaway]

What It Is:
LAQA & Co. Nail Polish Pens in Pimpin’ and Blurple
Why This Should Be in Your Bag:
Nail polish is an everyday essential for me. It keeps me looking professional, and also does double-duty, keeping me from biting my nails. Yes, that’s right; I’m a reformed nail biter! I bit for 20 years and stopped using sheer willpower. Anyways, I feel like this feat gives me free range to purchase lots of nail polish and fun products, like these nail polish pens from LAQA & Co.
The pen-design is what makes LAQA & Co. stand out in the pack. I’d never tried a nail polish pen before and was curious to see the results!
How To Use It:
These nail polish pens are actually pretty easy to use! The polish comes out the brush at the end, at a steady, but not overwhelming pace. When you press down on the colored end, more product comes out. It takes a bit of getting used to, and I don’t think I can paint my nails quite as well with the pen as opposed to a normal brush-and-cap applicator, but it’s a neat experience!

(Pimpin’, Blurple)
CC Rating: A
These are a fun, creative addition to anyone’s makeup stash. LAQA & Co. have given us a new way of looking at nail polish application. I also love their use of graphic design. Each package has a unique graphic, done by a designer, that makes purchasing new shade a bit special.
Application was fairly easy with these, although I did have to press down hard sometimes to get polish to come out. That resulted in a bit of a mess that had to be cleaned up. Another point that may not be so appealing is the price; these ring in at almost $16 a piece. You get 0.17oz, while most nail polishes are 0.5oz, so you really have to be keen on the pen design to make this worth your money! However, if you find the pen super easy, then the price may be worth it! I also think these would be great for jet-setting gals, as they’re a lot more secure and less breakable than traditional polish.
If you’re interested in the LAQA & Co. Nail Polish Pens, they’re available from their website for $15.45.
However, two lucky winners won’t have to fork over any cash, because we’re giving away a couple Nail Polish Pens! To enter you must:
1. “Like” LAQA & Co. and CollegeCandy on Facebook
2. Comment here about your favorite summertime makeup product. It can be anything, just don’t forget to enter your real email address. That’s how we’ll get in touch with our content winner on Friday, July 20th.
Good luck!

My favorite summer makeup is LORAC Tantalizer bronzer. I'm very fair skinned so I always use sunblock and easily freckly, but a little swipe of bronzer every morning gives me a healthy looking glow!

Summer is a fun season and I think you can get away with a lot bolder looks and more color during this season, so I would have to say my favorite product right now is eyeshadow… no particular brand. Thank you!

My favorite a toss up between the Urban Decay "sin" primer, or Bed Head Anti-Humidity Hair spray!!
It's so hot & humid here in Georgia you've got to have something to keep your makeup from sliding off
