I don’t know about you guys, but my heart melted for Thomas Brodie-Sangster in ‘Love Actually.’ The way he asked, “Worse than the total agony of being in love?” made me want to squeeze the life out of him. He was recently casted to play Jojen in ‘Game Of Thrones,’ and I couldn’t be happier about it. This kid young adult is severely talented. Who knew he just turned 22?! Single?

    I haven’t seen Game of Thrones yet, but I love the book series that it’s based on. However, the boob issue brngis up the fact that female sci-fi and fantasy fans are always discounted. Point of view’ characters are almost never female: depending on genre, women are either leather-clad dominatrix-types, vaguely offensive warrior princesses, or saucy wenches.There is absolutely nothing wrong with saucy wenches. Boobs, as we all know, are awesome. However, it is a bit frustrating when all female characters turn into teen-boy masturbation fantasies, especially given the wealth of strong female characters in written sci-fi and fantasy.Sigh.
