Nicole Richie is Comfy Chic [Celebrity Chic on the Cheap]

Nicole Richie never looks anything less than perfectly styled and ridiculously comfortable. She definitely embraces a boho streak – loose silhouettes, funky patterns, and interesting jewelry. But she’s also excellent at putting together timeless, laidback, casual ensembles that are still stylish and flattering.

A “slub” knit tee is the perfect combination of clingy and relaxed, and are so ridiculously versatile. Paired with black skinny jeans, you have a youthful, slightly edgy aesthetic. While you’d normally see an outfit like this paired with sky-high stilettos, Nicole takes a different (more functional) approach and rocks black loafers, which I love. They’re a great alternative to ballet flats. Add a simple necklace, and you have a look that would be great for the bars, concerts, class, or pretty much anywhere formal wear isn’t expected.
