Tuffy Luv Tells You What To Wear If You’re a Petite Hourglass Shape

Dear Tuffy Luv,

I’m in pretty good shape, but I always feel like my clothes are making me look heavier than I am. I’m short (5’2″) and I have a large chest and kind of a round butt but a very small waist. I tried googling “curvy” but for some reason it mostly came up with either women who were overweight (who look good too! but that doesn’t help me) or tall and modely like Playboy style (also look good, also don’t help me). I work out and am proud of my body but I don’t get it. How am I supposed to dress when everything is made for people who are taller and less curvy than me?

Little Curvy Girl

Dear Little Curvy Girl,

Ah, yes. The struggle of the shorty. Combine that with killer curves and you’ve got–one very hot body!!! But you’re right, clothes are not made for you. People say you have to get everything tailored or spend a lot of money. Aunt Tuffy is here to say that ain’t true. This is a great resource. It’s a body type chart for petites.

It sounds like you’re a Petite Hourglass. Which, again, is really lucky for you. This website shows you how to restyle outfits from Pinterest to fit the Petite Hourglass size and shape. It seems like it boils down to this: Highlight that little waist. Wear clothes that are fitted but not tight. Be aware of how much material you’re putting on that little body of yours. Etc.

So, like, you can do it and shoop.

Hearts & Skulls,

Tuffy Luv
