Reviewing theBalm’s “Balms Away” [In Our Makeup Bag]

What It Is:

theBalm Balms Away Eye Makeup Remover

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:

In these articles, I often tell you about how to apply makeup, but rarely do we discuss taking it off. theBalm is one of my absolute favorite makeup brands, so I was really excited about trying out their makeup removing product, Balms Away.

theBalm promises that this “easily removes eye makeup, ensuring that your beauty sleep delivers the restful benefits it should. It’s made with vitamins A, C and E, and a blend of plant-derived sterols and lipids that hydrate and restore skin.” Sounds good to me!

How To Use It:

theBalm has pretty clear instructions on how to use this unique balm, so I suggest following them, with a little twist on the end. “Apply a dollop onto closed eye and move product in circular motion for 30 seconds. Then all you need to do is wipe it away with a soft tissue – no rinsing required!”

I found that the product actually did require a bit of rinsing to get all the residue off. Balms Away has the texture of thick Vaseline and leaves a bit of an oil behind. This extra step wasn’t a big deal, as I always follow-up makeup remover with washing my face. My normal cleanser was able to break down the residue and leave me squeaky-clean!

CC Rating: A

Balms Away delivered on its promise to easily remove eye makeup. After a few seconds of moving the product around, my eyeshadow, liner and mascara simply melted off! There was no overpowering scent and even if the product got in my eye, it didn’t sting like some other removers. It’s also unbeatable for traveling. I just deposit a little into a travel jar and I’m good to go; no liquid eye makeup remover spills anymore!

The only thing I really don’t like is the slight residue left behind. You have to really wipe the stuff off to get your face clean and that involves tugging on the gentle skin around your eye area. I preferred to lightly wipe it off and then use my normal cleanser to get the rest off.

theBalm’s Balms Away Eye Makeup Remover is officially my new favorite for travel and would be a great addition to any makeup junkie’s arsenal. It removes eye makeup like a charm and will become jetsetting girls’ new best friend! Balms Away is available from theBalm’s website and Sephora for $20.

World wide web has without a doubt built taking part in extra fascinating.

The first thing you must do is to separate the amount of
