Guy Calls 911 Because His Dreams Were Coming True [WTF Friday]

Drugs are bad, kids. This week’s hilariously weird news story covers 18-year-old Mark Welch, who had a major freakout after smoking synthetic marijuana. Basically, after smoking K2, Mark called the police to tell them that his dream was happening in real life – ‘Everything that happened today is actually in my dream, and I want to prove it to everybody.’

Police then went to his house and told him not to call 911 again, so Mark’s parents hid the phone to prevent him from calling again. (Why are they not more concerned that their son is going insane? I have no idea.) Unfortunately for them, Mark then went to his NEIGHBOR’s house and dialed 911 AGAIN. He said ”The officer told me not to call back, and he said if I called back, then y’all were going to take me to court. So, I’m calling back.” (Click here to listen to a recording of the calls) What?! As a result police deputies came back and arrested him misuse of the 911 system. Moral of the story? Don’t do drugs. Or, if you really want to, just hide your phone.
