Dear Tuffy Luv,

My question is fairly simple: What kind of girls do guys like?

-Broken Heart

Dear Broken Heart,

Ooooh my unbridled rage is held back only by the sadness of your sign-off!!! Okay, for realz. This kind of pisses me off. Because, like. Number 1: GUYS DON’T JUST LIKE ONE KIND OF GIRL.

Like, you know guys are people, right?! Living, breathing individuals. So you’ll be a lot better off if you can stop thinking of it as AWL GUYZ LYKE WEN EYE DEW DIS, ROIGHT and start being like, oh, this guy likes this and that guy likes that and I should look at a guy like he’s just another human being. Like girls. Which brings us to…

Number dos: You should NOT try to be a type. Why not be yourself?! I guarantee it will get you SO much farther. People can tell when you’re faking it. There’s nothing the general public hates more than a flooping fakeash motherflooper. Dig?!

And, last: Why are we still making ourselves into something to please the mens?! THIS IS 2012!!! THIS IS 201222222222222222!!! CAN WE PLEASE FINALLY BE PEOPLE?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!

So I was about to totally explode my fist in your face. But then you signed it Broken Hearted. Damn you, Broken Hearted. Damn you to hoop. Okay. So. Then I felt sorry for you. Because Aunt Tuffy always feels kind of bad when someone gets their heart broken.

But, girl, you gotta stop asking stupid questions. Start thinking of yourself as someone who deserves love and respect. Stop trying to figure out what guys like and find a guy you like who likes you.

So…yeah. Do that. And stop pissing me off.

Hearts & Skulls,

Tuffy Luv

This is a great article with great advice. However I couldn't be more on the same page as Broken Hearted (and that's why, maybe, I'm broken hearted myself) because, wether you like to admit it or not, guys always go for the same tall, blonde, bubbly type of girl… It's really sad to say this, but it's the truth. I'm not even saying shorter girls with dark hair won't ever find a boyfriend, but why are so many guys obsessed with Taylor Swift? Or why is Kate Upton so popular?? Or look at all the girls Leo DiCaprio and Tony Romo dated, look who Ryan Reynolds got married to and who Ryan Lochte has a crush on (Blake Lively), look who Michael Phelps is dating or who are Tom Brady and Eli Manning's wives… And these are just famous examples, but I could go on telling you about real life…

I'm not trying to disrespect anyone, but as a short brunette it's nerve wracking to have to compete with these women who always seem to be every guy's dream and get all attention… I'm really tired of people saying ''Oh, but you're so pretty!'' and that guys actually like variety when all I see is this fascination with these statuesque and golden-haired girls, who look nothing like me, and see then turning all the heads when I simply just look average and never get any male compliments…

As a girl with many tall blonde friends, even my little sister, I see how they are the girls who initially attract all the guys. But they have trouble finding love too. I’m a short curvy brunette and my boyfriend is tall, gorgeous, and an engineer. He also makes me laugh all the time, and I do the same for him. If you want real love, it takes more than the superficial and it’s all about finding someone with that personality that fits yours. It takes a while, but trust me, even though it’s cliched, it is worth it, and you’ll find love when you least expect it :)
