One of my favorite hobbies during the summertime is reading — there’s nothing better than lounging poolside or on the sand with an exciting novel that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to read during the school year (due to lack of time or the fact that I don’t have any super interesting books on my syllabus).

Now that Summer is over and classes are back in session, my free time for reading for pleasure is suddenly a lot more limited, but I’ve decided to still try to fit in some “fun” reading! And to help find awesome books to read, I’ve discovered What Should I Read Next?

Simply type in the title of a great books you read recently or the name of your favorite author, and What Should I Read Next? will come up with a list of suggestions of books you should read.

The suggestions come from the site’s huge database of other readers’ favorite books. Once you type in a book title or author’s name, What Should I Read Next? analyzes that against the database to provide you with books that are similar and that similar-minded readers have also enjoyed. Next to each book is a link to buy it and read more about it on Amazon.

It’s just like asking your friends for book recommendations – only you’re asking thousands of friends, and you get the results in no time at all! You can also register to create your own list of favorites, which helps add to the database!

Thanks to What Should I Read Next? I’ve got a list of books I can’t wait to start reading — Winter break can’t get here fast enough!
