What It Is:
NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick
Why This Should Be in Your Bag:
NUXE is a new brand on In Our Makeup Bag, so I’m very excited to be featuring them! NUXE derives it’s name from a combination of the words “Nature” and “Luxury” and I think that perfectly describes their offerings. Decadent oils and skincare are their specialty, as well as a cult classic lip balm known as Rêve de Miel. NUXE promises this balm “nourishes, repairs, soothes and protects the lips” using a combination of ingredients like precious sunflower and macadamia nut oils, barley extract, argan oil, shea butter, honey and vitamin E derivative.

How To Use It:
This part is pretty darn simple: take off the cap, twist up the balm and swipe across your lips a couple times! The balm goes on completely clear and leaves somewhat of a matte finish, so you can apply totally on-the-go!

CC Rating: A
The NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick has become a staple in my purse. I always like to carry around a clear lip balm and this one has replaced the drugstore one I previously toted. The slightly matte finish and delicious taste (almost like sweet lemon!) are my favorite attributes, besides the hydrating power. I can apply several swipes of Rêve de Miel and not worry about my lips becoming a shining beacon. The price is also pleasantly surprising for a luxury skincare item; it’s about $9.50 USD/$12 CAD in most places!
The only thing that I didn’t love about this balm is that I had to reapply more often than I’d like. I found that after about 2 hours of wear, my lips craved the balm again. I don’t often use a lip balm throughout the day like that; I like to be able to apply it when my lips are getting dry, but not be constantly reaching for it. However, when I did apply, it did a great job of moisturizing!
NUXE doesn’t have an American website, but you can pick up your own Rêve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick from Amazon or Beauty Habit.
