Six (!) years after “Promiscuous”, Nelly Furtado is releasing music in the US again, and has been subtly making the rounds. Her music has matured, and so has her personal style. She still rocks tank tops, skinny jeans, and boho chic accessories, she has also embraced sleek silhouettes and generally more sophisticated pieces. Regardless, she has not lost her sass and her spark, and her fashion definitely reflects that.

Peplum has been huge for the last couple of years, and it seems like it’s here to stay for at least another few months. This beautiful red top is a great way to integrate peplum into your wardrobe – it’s dramatic without being too restrictive, and you could pair it with jeans, slacks, and skirts, as well as layer it over a dress. Nelly chose a bold leather skirt – totally feisty and appropriate for a night out on the town. Paired with black tights, slouchy knee high boots, and your choice of funky jewelry, this is such a great, sassy look for fall.
