Yes, your mom attended the debate tonight and since you were a sucky kid and forgot to teach her how to use the camera on her phone (like you promised!), she had to whip out her store brand disposable camera. Now live with the shame of knowing we all saw.

In other news: Will disposable cameras now be making a comeback? Moms were the original hipsters!

    I read that the disposable cameras were because security wouldn't allow electronics like digital cameras and smart phones inside the debate

    For the record, that is in fact an accurate statement. Audience members were not permitted to bring electronic devices of any kind into the auditorium. But come on…a disposable…really?

    I noticed that a billion people in there had disposable cameras. xD My mom and I were sitting there counting how many we saw. But I also saw a few professional cameras and one guy was snapping pictures with what looked like a smartphone. So I dunno. I thought it was pretty funny.

    People with highly disposable income use disposable cameras because – well, what's all that cash for if not to waste with disposable stuff? Only you people worry about recycling or reusing.

    Disposable cameras are real cameras…smh. They capture an image just like a camera phone except you have to get it developed and the negative will last longer than the 1s and 0s on your computer. Not knocking digital cause I have a camera phone and a digital phone, but I don't think it's silly because they were used even if it was because of security reasons. Never know who's disposable camera image may end up becoming famous or a collectible from that night. IJS don''t knock the cameras that do the same thing as any other digital or electronic device.
