What It Is:

Perricone No Concealer Concealer

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:

If I were to be stranded on a deserted island, with only one item of makeup with me, do you know what it would be? Concealer! Okay, let’s not nit-pick about the fact that no one really needs concealer, let alone makeup, on a deserted island, but you get my drift. A good concealer is an instant face pick-me-up and takes you from drab to slightly more fab in seconds!

Perricone is a brand developed by the famous Dr. Nicholas Perricone. Their makeup offerings are made with super-charged ingredients and always have hidden skincare benefits. Their No Concealer Concealer can be used as both a concealer and eyelid primer and “softens fine lines and delivers powerful anti-aging benefits with Neuropeptides and Vitamin C ester”. Cool!

How To Use It:

I think my pump may have been defective, but I could not for the life of me get it to work! Technical difficulties aside, I used a concealer brush to pat the product on and then blended very lightly with my finger.

I really like the Perricone No Concealer Concealer. It goes on super smooth, blends well and conceals. I always have issues with concealers staying on all day and this one performed slightly better than usual, with a wear time of about 5 hours. I also have very dark, hereditary circles under my eyes, so I’m an extreme test subject.

My biggest gripe is the price. When I opened the jar and saw what $45 got you, I was shocked. It’s quite teeny tiny, and while I’m nowhere near using it up, $45 for 0.3oz is pretty steep. I think a bottle may last the average user a little under a year, but again, can’t confirm this. I’m also unsure of whether every skin tone could use this, like Perricone claims. Sure, a large amount of girls could wear this, but women of darker color probably couldn’t. The product is also quite thin and sheer compared to many of my other concealers. I found that I needed to add another concealer underneath to really get this to work for me.

If you’re skin tone fits in the range that the No Concealer Concealer will work on and you don’t require a super heavy-duty concealer, this may be right up your alley! You can pick up the Perricone No Concealer Concealer for $45 from their website or Sephora.com.
