Miranda Kerr is Sleek and Modern [Celebrity Chic on the Cheap]

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is airing next month (just the thought makes me want to get off the computer and do Pilates instead). Naturally, that means we’re seeing more and more photos of the VS Angels out and about (because what we all need are more stabs to our self-esteem). One of my favorite models is Miranda Kerr. I love her slightly quirky facial features, her stunning smile and her fierce runway stroll. Even in candid shots, she always looks absurdly put-together and glam.

Sweater dresses are one of my favorite parts of fall. Warmth and comfort rolled into one perennially stylish frock? Yes please. These kind of dresses can sometimes look excessively plain, so it’s a good idea to seek out ones that have interesting details like Miranda’s dress with the contrasting black insets or the more expensive one with the dramatic neck. Paired with hot knee-high boots, this becomes a subtly sexy, slightly edgy look. A black trench coat is a timeless piece, and a black hobo completes the sleekness of this look.
