I find that I always have such a hard time finding earrings in my jewelry box. They always get tangled up in my necklaces and I just can’t seem to find a matching pair. So, to fix my problem I found this great tutorial on how to make a storage/display frame for my earrings. Check out this the video from YouTube user carahamelie03:
What You’ll Need:
- Spray paint in the color of your choice
- Hot glue gun
- Lace ribbon
- A piece of white felt
- Gold or silver chain
Step One: Spray paint your frame. Be sure to lay down newspaper or cardboard so that it doesn’t stain the floor. Let the first coat dry, then spray a second coat.
Step Two: Cut strips of felt that are the same width of the lace ribbon you have. Cut three long strips of felt into smaller pieces.
Step Three: Cut four strips of the lace across the frame. Be sure to let the lace hang over the edge to the frame a bit, so that you can glue the lace down.
Step Four:Take the cut pieces of felt and hot glue it on top of the lace and the back of the frame and its edges.
Step Five: Cut your chain and glue it to the top of frame so that it will hang on the wall. Place felt over the chain and so that it secures the chain to back of the frame as well.
Step Six: Hang your frame on the wall and attach your earrings to the lace. All done!
