It’s that time of year again, ladies. When we’re hit by delicious holiday after delicious holiday. We’ve got mom’s candied yams and dad’s deep fried turkey to nom on today. Grandma’s accompanied by her fruitcake when she visits in December. And by New Years we’re downing all of our calories in glasses of champagne. This all sounds pretty darn scary for our figures.
But that doesn’t mean you should lock yourself in your room with a bag of celery and hope for the best. The holiday season is a time for celebration, not deprivation. You’ve made it another whole year, so bottoms and forks up.
The key to staying healthy and positive, is making small (but powerful) changes. The classic “try this, not that” plan. And since no one going to tell you to put down your drink this season, here are some great options that will keep you rocking into 2013.
