In my semi-humble opinion, Selena Gomez is one of the best celebrities in the game right now. Her style is beyond eclectic – she can work sexy cocktail dresses, boho chic and preppy glamor equally well. I shamelessly covet at least 90% of her wardrobe, and I really get the sense that she has fun with fashion, something that doesn’t always seem to be the case.

The 90s were officially long enough ago to warrant a revival of the styles, apparently. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but I’ll roll with it. Flannel/plaid has been on-trend for years, and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere soon. This girly skull shirt is so cheeky and cute, and totally versatile. Selena chose to go with jeans, and it looks great, but I can easily imagine it looking awesome with a miniskirt or pleather leggings. High-tops and a beanie really accentuate the throwback vibe of this outfit. Overall, this ensemble is so “vintage” that it’s totally contemporary and perfect for casual situations.
