There’s mad people in your life (some of them are only there for you to throw shade at) who you should probably show a little appreciation for. Now, I know that when you’re in college (and afterwards too, let’s be honest) you have so little cash that you want to cling onto it and you’re probably working super duper hard this semester so every time the money rolls in you feel like you have to reward yourself for waking up, going to class and sleeping. Suck it up, kiddo. Whether you know it or not it takes/took a village to raise your ungrateful tush. This is the one time of year you get to say thank you to the people you probably forget to thank: your favorite teacher, that employer who took the time, your big bro, that cool aunt and your bestie. Throw some love their way and you’ll feel like you’re actually doing something positive with your life.
