I’m not a very emotional person, but around the holidays I become a big old sap. I am like a walking billboard of Christmas spirit. I have been listening to Christmas music pretty much nonstop since before Thanksgiving. I decorated my house. I’m contemplating the perfect gifts for my best friends.

And I’ve been crying. Like, a lot. Over everything. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas isn’t always about presents and Santa. To quote the Grinch, “Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

This commercial for UK retailer John Lewis is the perfect version of the Christmas spirit. Seriously, try and get through it without crying. I dare you. It’s just the cutest thing in the entire world.
