Anti-Gay Group “One Million Moms” Attack Ellen DeGeneres Ad

America’s Sweetheart, Ellen DeGeneres, was featured in a JC Penney Christmas ad and the anti-LGBT group One Million Moms has once again criticized the retailer for being ‘pro-gay’ and tarnishing traditional values. Last April, when Ellen was featured in another ad, OMM started their boycott against JC Penney, determined that their choice to hire the comedian was against OMM values.

The Christmas ad itself? Completely harmless. One Million Moms may think JC Penney is offending a large population with this material but I think this group is a part of a very small group of folks that thinks this is a valid objection. OMM dropped their protest, perhaps after realizing how few Americans actually paid attention to them. In contrast to their “strong values,” OMM seems to be displaying an ignorant reaction to a funny Christmas advertisement.

Turn about is fair play. If someone publicly murmurs that he/she is not for "gay marriage" he is called all kinds of horrible names. Remember one can be against gay marriage but no "against" homosexuals. Live with it mean gays. You cannot FORCE someone to love EVERYTHING that you do, no more that I would expect someone to love everything I do.

If you believe in marriage, it is part of the way you should live with your partner to get to heaven. Therefore you cannot be pro gay and anti-gay-marriage. It's like saying:"I really like gay people, I just believe it's not God's way"…
But I totally agree, we should not be hating on anti-gay organizations. It's should be possible to have a decent discussion. I honestly do not get why people are so anti gay, they do not bother me.
I actually think that one of the reasons there should be homosexual marriage is to get equal rights when it comes to stuff like partner insurance.

One Million Morons is more like it. People need to start looking at themselves and get over all their nasty prejudice.

I totally agree!!!!!!! Brilliant comment. Thank you.

I am pro-gay marriage, just, I don’t think they should be married in my church.

Not because I’m phobic, just because I fully believe that if you are religious you wouldn’t be doing it. It’s not natural, sorry. There is a reason why two of the same sex can’t make a baby. And not that creating life should be the end all for all marriages, but I think it’s the way it signals the way it was meant to be. Otherwise humans would be asexual or there wouldn’t be gender at all. But don’t bring proof of animals being gay because humans aren’t those animals. And I don’t think animals can be gay and I don’t think you could tell either.

But so far as equal rights? Hell yeah, if they want the same legal rights as a straight couple, let them have it. Just don’t say that my church is the anti-christ for not allowing religious marriages for them. It’s in their beliefs and no one is forcing you to be a part of my church.

Someone pro-gay literally once told me you can’t be christian if your church does not hold religious marriages for gays. You can’t preach tolerance, then hate your opposition. The word tolerance means TOLERATE the different views.

    5. The Blinding says:

All these religious fools talking about religion like it is God's word, when it was actually Hebrew men who wrote these supposed laws and rules for their own people. The God of the Old Testament has made it perfectly clear (Mark 12:25) that marriage will not be allowed or valued in Heaven and if you didn't already know, the marriage ceremony was not invented by God, Christians or the Jews, it is a ritual practiced all over the world by many pagan groups, before there ever was a Bible. The Bible has a lot of laws and rules for the Jewish people (the "chosen people" of a God that has told them that the rest of us goyim/gentiles/beasts are to be their slaves) like not wearing clothing made of more than one fabric or eating a meal with more than one kind of animal product (no dairy and red meat together–cheeseburgers anyone?), but how come nobody ever tries to enforce these rules? As for the procreation argument, not all heterosexuals are fertile or are able to produce healthy offspring yet they are still allowed to get married. And let's be real, how many people are having sex to actually purposely reproduce? Yet, so many bigots focus solely on the sexual aspect of homosexuality as being immoral, yet so many of these hypocrites are not virgins when they marry. It wasn't until 1967 that white people were allowed to marry African-Americans in this country that was built on the slavery of Africans and genocide of the Native Americans. Somebody mentioned that we are not asexual yet if you read the original Old Testament or the Torah, in Hebrew, it clearly states that God was both male and female and created Adam & Eve in it's androgynous image. Eve is called as such "because he is the mother of all the living." Ask any Jewish rabbi. So much for that stupid "It's Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve" chant you see or hear all the time from these ignorant zealots. Science has already proven that homosexual men and women have the same brains as heterosexual women and men. Gay men literally have the brains of straight women and vice verse for lesbians. If androgyny is man's perfect state, who are any of you to tell anybody else that they are going against God's creation? People need to stop using God and Jewish scripture that doesn't even apply to the rest of us as their excuse. I would respect you more if you just came out and said, "I hate gay people because I don't understand them and I am set in my ways because of my religious brainwashing and there is nothing else I can learn in order to evolve. I will die a hateful bigot." How does your marriage effect a gay person? It doesn't, just like their marriage would have absolutely no effect on you.

Ellen degenerate can be what ever she wants to be except funny. Her comedy is not funny in the least. And people whom are not gay arent going to accept her forcing her lifestyle on them anymore than she wants their lifestyle forced on her.
