16 Of Barbie’s Oddly Specific Careers [Gallery]

Our girl Barbie has been switching careers since 1959. This staple of American “girl culture” has more degrees and odd jobs than necessary for someone who has been President of the United States a handful of times. Whether she is out in the trenches as an Air Force  Thunderbird or digging for dinosaur bones as a Paleontologist she always does it looking fabulous. We’ve rounded just a bit (compared to all of the careers she has had) of Barbie’s oddly specific career choices. Does anyone else find it strange that she was a Stewardess and a Flight Attendant? What’s the difference?
