Megan Fox Is Now A Never-Nude

After having her son, Noah, Megan has rethought her past roles which (ahem – Transformers) highlighted her body instead of her acting chops. She has resigned to covering up so that when her son gets older he doesn’t have to deal with the “humiliation.” She said, “I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified. So that will deter me from making some of the choices I made before.”

I think it’s interesting because Channing Tatum is probably not going to have to worry about this. Yeah, his future kids may giggle a bit about it, but men don’t have to worry about showing off their six-packs, doing sex scenes or even being objectified (ahem Magic Mike) the way women will when they have kids. There isn’t anything wrong with a female showing off her body or using her body to make money as long as she is exercising her agency in doing so. If I saw my mom in a bikini, bending over, I’d be embarrassed – yeah, duh! – but I wouldn’t be ashamed. Although, there are people who wouldn’t be so kind.

Megan is already concerned about being a mother and  being as “old” as 26, she said, “It’s scary because unfortunately women in the film industry don’t seem to hold their value as they get older so it’s scary for all of us. I relate it to being like a basketball player who is only 33 or 34 but people say he is geriatric because you top-out young  It’s the same thing for actresses. I’m 26 but already time is a tickin’.”

Now, I am all for Megan Fox using her body as a vehicle for her career because I don’t really care about what Megan Fox does it’s her business, but I am interested in seeing the other aspects of her as well. (Jennifer’s Body wasn’t so bad, was it?) It’s just a sad reality when we associate so much shame, immorality and humiliation with something as commonplace and mundane as the flesh sacks we call “bodies.” What  do you think?

    I definitely respect Megan Fox a lot more for choosing to sell her acting instead of her body nowadays, even though her body was a very profitable asset for a while. It's a great sign of her motherhood that she's thinking of her son and his future.

    I think Fox is slightly misguided in her decision to stop stripping down. We're in the age of the internet where pictures, comments and everything else uploaded has the life span of just about forever. Do a google search of "Megan Fox bikini," and see all of the content that comes up.The damage is kinda already done. I know she wasn't thinking at age 20 or whatever "But what if I become a mom someday?!" But what's done is done.Be proud of that body girl!

    only actresses who depend on their looks vs. their skills to make themselves profitable need to be worried about being washed up at 32-34. Face it-your kid will know you as the sex object you chose to be to become famous. Reality bites, don't waste our time with your regrets! Own you who are.

    There are 2 options. Junior could live with his poor, prudish mom in a bungalow in the Valley, and ride a bus to public school. Alternatively, he could live with his rich, naked mom in a mansion in Beverly Hills and ride to prep school in a limousine. It's an easy choice.
