Channeling Anna Karenina + Giveaway [CC Beauty Live]

I cannot tell you how excited I am to see Anna Karenina. It’s one of my favorite stories, and I just love Keira Knightley. I will watch anything she’s even if it’s horrible because I think she’s fabulous. She’s a classically beautiful woman and fits perfectly in these period pieces that she has become known for. I’ve been gawking at the hair and makeup (and the jewelry-good god!) since the first pictures of the film surfaced. The looks from this movie are incredible so I wanted to update the style a bit and make it more wearable and modern.

It’s messy and royal, but still classic and beautiful. This hairstyle is so fun, and you can wear it for all kinds of occasions whether it’s to a holiday party or just to grab dinner with your friends. Products as usual are listed under the video, but one special thing I’m using is a Fly Band from Fine Featherheads! I’ve been fawning over Fly Bands and Fly Ties as I’ve been testing them out, and I’m sure you’ll love them too so we’re doing another giveaway! Details at the end of the video!!

On my face: Bobbi Brown BB Cream, MAC StudioFix in C3, NARS The Multiple in Orgasm, marc. Lash All You Want mascara, marc. Make It Rich lip crayon in Punch

In my hair: Bed Head Sugar Shock, Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, Rusk w8less Hairspray

My biggest headband problem it that they won't stay put and hairs are always escaping. It's really annoying when I'm running and have to keep adjusting my headband. So frustrating!

    7. Jessica says:

My biggest headband problem is finding one that won't slide off my head without pinching my neck! Those things can cause some serious headaches. Flybands seem like a great idea!
