Our obsession with women’s bodies really takes the cake when we start focusing on how long it takes a woman, who has ejected a living thing from her hoo-haa, to drop her baby weight. Jessica has lost 50 pounds and this is supposed be a big accomplishment (and it is in a certain sense – losing weight involves discipline) nevertheless I do not know why I am supposed to care about this women’s body especially when she hasn’t really been culturally relevant since the early ’00s. I've never been a huge fan of these "lose weight quickly" type articles. The problem with most of the methods is that, most people end up putting the weight straight back on.
