If you’re like me, the new year usually means a complete overhaul of everything. I clean out my closet and donate the clothes I haven’t worn in six months, I reorganize my junk drawer, I pretty much reorganize my life. I just feel like in the cold winter days of January my life needs a little more oomph, and that can definitely apply to my makeup routine. The best way I’ve found to amp up your makeup without buying new products is to clean your dang brushes. It will make those high end products you paid like $30 for at Sephora feel and look brand new. It’s totally worth it.

    I have also read in a magazine that after you wash them, before you leave them to dry put some conditioner in them- it supposedly makes the brushes really soft!
