There is really nothing like the freedom that comes with living on your own for the first time. You can go to sleep whenever you want. You can leave the dishes unwashed for days (gross). You can walk around naked (just make sure it’s okay with the roomie). College dorms and apartments provide us with the opportunity to have our own space and make it our own. We’re kind of adults, sort of maybe! And while it’s always fun to be able to put a beer pong table in your living room without any complaints, there are a few more important things that we forget we need because mom isn’t around to remind us.
