Disney’s “Paperman” Will Melt Your Heart, Make You Feel Feelings [Video]

You know how there are some girls who love Disney? It doesn’t matter if they’re 19 and downing shot skis on Saturday night, give them an anniversary edition DVD of The Little Mermaid and they are SO THERE Sunday morning. They love telling you which princess they relate to the most, which prince they think would be the best in bed, which animated animal sidekick is clearly the best. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve heard these conversations last through hangover brunch and extend well into evening hours.

This may come as a shock, but I am not one of these girls. After the age of 9, my love for Disney all but vanished. I just don’t get the obsession. You certainly won’t find me celebrating my birthday at Disney World or “ironically” wearing a faux-retro Minnie Mouse graphic tee. Please gag me with ten poison apples instead.

Well, when Disney’s Oscar-Nominated short film, Paperman, was released a couple days ago, I may have watched it. And I may have enjoyed it. My cold heart thawed for six minutes and 33 seconds…long enough to take in the complete adorableness of this fated meet-cute. Watch Paperman below and just try not to smile a little…
