Will Emilia Clarke Be Anastasia In The 50 Shades Of Grey Movie?

It’s looking like Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke is the new frontrunner to play Anastasia in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Emilia portrays Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones and is getting a lot of fan support in polls conducted by Latinos Post, to play Ana. According to Gather, “Emilia Clarke is once again attaining front runner status as Ana.” She’s currently  beating Alexis Bledel for the lead and appears to be a good choice since she’s a fresh face.

I mean, imagine Angelina Jolie as Ana or Scarlett Johansson it would completely pull you out of the movie because you’d be seeing Angelina Jolie get spanked by Christian Grey instead of the character. It’s better we leave such developed characters, since we’ve all read the book and know what Anastasia is like, to more unknowns. The combination of an over-exposed starlet and a character we’re all familiar with is just too much information competing for our attention.

    No! Please no! She has built herself up as a very strong, able-bodied woman in Game of Thrones. She's respected. If she does 50 Shades of Grey, all of that respect gets thrown out the window when she plays a feeble, sorry excuse for a woman. Emilia Clarke should stay FAR away from this film.

    Yes!!! She is not known still by many but she has been a big fan favorite for this part since the beginning. She is just perfect for the role because she has the right look and she is an amazing actress which is what we need in this kind of role. I truly believe she’s the only one who could bring this character to life the best :)

    T3hsandy – You may not be a fan of the Fifty Shades series but MILLIONS of people are, and this is a very highly anticipated movie. This is not a series about porn or anything of disrespect – it’s a passionate love story. Apparently you haven’t even read the books because Anastasia is a very strong character, she grows a lot just like Christian. Emilia would be phenomenal in this role and this could really out her on the map! More people need to know of this girl.
