The Lumineers follow up, “Ho Hey,” the song that made them folksy, indie darlings, with a video for “Stubborn Love.” Though the band is visually absent, the somber tale of a little girl reconciling her parent’s divorce is a worthy backdrop to the crooned lyric, “Keep your head up,” chanted through out the song. Always mixing simple sounds with simple ideas to create big sounds, “Stubborn Love” is no different. The two-time Grammy nominated (Best New Artist, Best Americana Album), rock band from Denver will be making their rounds in the festival circuit this year.
