Fergie and Josh Duhamel have announced that they are expecting. I guess that means there won’t be a new Fergie album for a while, which is sort of a bummer – London Bridges was my jam. The two seem pretty excited about the new baby and the fact that they pretty much remain out of the spotlight is a good sign. Josh told Us Weekly, “My mother was a teacher. Both of her parents were teachers. We both had to work for what we got. We’re both Catholic,” he explained. “There were a lot of things that were really compatible between us. But at the end of the day, she’s just an amazing girl.” Good for them.
• A frat sent nearly nudes to a sorority and I guess they are all surprised the pictures ended up everywhere because they never heard of the internet.
“University of Michigan students have spent the last few days circulating a crazy message from the school’s Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) chapter to its sorority Alpha Phi. The email is mainly an invite for the two’s “America” party happening tonight, however, it gained notoriety on campus for another reason: Attached is a huge picture of all the dudes undressed.”
• Everyone thinks Rihanna‘s new fashion line for UK brand River Island is horrendous but clearly they never studied abroad in London and been to a River Island store and saw all the ratchet clothing they sold there before Rihanna came along. (I got my favorite scarf rom there.) The Daily Beast was not pleased:
“Even before Rihanna unveiled her unsurprisingly slutty and yet tiresomely predictable collection for River Island at London Fashion Week tonight, there were many who said that it was a mistake to allow the world’s most famous pop star of the moment to hijack an event which is supposed to be about celebrating creativity, passion and original thinking in fashion (as opposed to lazily co-opting celebrity endorsement to shift mediocre, mass-market product, which is what McDonalds is for).”
• Check out the new featurette for Star Trek: Into Darkness. I cannot waaaaaaiiit.
• Here is a very long infographic about porn stars. If you’re into that sort of thing.
