Today is Drew Barrymore’s 38th birthday. She’s made some great movies including E.T. and Boys On The Side but let’s remember the most epic movie she has ever made instead of those. Yes, I am talking about Never Been Kissed. The film about a copy-editor who was nicknamed “Josie Grossie” in high school, a woman in her thirties who has never been kissed, and must return to high school as undercover student to write a piece about teenagers. High school isn’t much different the second time around for Josie Grossie, she’s still a loser but at least she gets to make out with her teacher. The end. That’s how the story goes.
