Okay, I’ll admit it. When I was younger, I was an ardent fan of Hannah Montana, and I wanted to be just like the fictional character. I mean which teenage girl wouldn’t want to lead a double life, living in a beach-side house, wearing a new outfit to school everyday while at night being a teen pop sensation traveling in limos and meeting celebrities? Okay, well it didn’t sound so strange at the time…
However, I know a “few” of us would have wanted to be Miley Cyrus herself until a few days ago since she was going to be married to a beautiful man named Liam Hemsworth. Sadly, that is no longer true according to an article in the NY Post. The rumors of there being a split first started in January when Liam was spotted leaving a pre-Oscar party with January Jones, while Cyrus attended Elton John’s Oscar party in the evening with her mother, Tish Cyrus. Following the Oscars and all the buzz that erupted of a break-up, Miley took to Twitter (as she has been known to do), and tweeted the following:
Adding to the hoopla, Cyrus had been spotted since then without her engagement ring a couple of times. There were also rumors that Liam was cheating on her which she also took to Twitter to defend. However, it’s interesting because I was having a hard time finding that tweet, so maybe she has deleted it since then! Anyways, the couple hadn’t really been seen together since their vacation to Costa Rica and their stop in Ottawa, Canada, and it appears now that Hemsworth is enjoying himself on the beaches in Australia with his mother.
One source told Page Six that “[Miley] likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.” Honestly, I think Liam and especially Miley were to young to be married anyways. They need more time to mature/become adults and just think about all that’s happened. It can’t be easy breaking things off after all the publicity their wedding has gotten. Recently, Miley tweeted:
I think that’s a good plan of action Miley! However, then I wonder what she’s thinking when she tweets things like:
No Miley, I highly doubt your music “will shut everyone up.”
