What It Is:

BITE Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss* in Peach, Strangefruit and Apple

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:

BITE Beauty is just the bomb. These are the only lip products on the market that you don’t have to feel guilty about wearing because they contain food grade ingredients. You know that statistic that women eat like 17 lipsticks in their life (or something like that)? BITE’s formula negates that!

Their new Lush Fruit Lip Glosses are packed with the “same healthy ingredients you’d find in a pure fruit smoothie: real coconut, mango, and strawberry” and seven fruit oils, as well as resveratrol to fight signs of aging!

How To Use It:

BITE’s gloss applicators are quite large and doe-footed, so make sure you apply carefully or else you can end up looking like Heath Ledger’s Joker. Definitely grab a mirror before you apply these!

CC Rating: A-

As with all BITE Beauty’s lip offerings, I’m really enjoying the Lush Fruit Lip Glosses. The texture is the perfect medium between sticky and nonsticky, just enough so they stay around for a few hours and don’t require constant reapplication. The glosses have a light, fruity scent, similar to the other glossy products by BITE and they taste great too! Not that I recommend eating lipgloss, but you actually can eat BITE’s because of the food grade ingredients they use! Huge bonus!

I suppose the only downside is the price of these glosses. $22 is a lot to spend on a single gloss, but they are fantastic. If you’d like to get into the brand or want to get a couple great, everyday glosses, I would recommend a lighter shade like Peach and then something fun like Strangefruit or Apple. Apple has become my go-to for a glossy red lip and I receive loads of compliments everytime I sport it!

The BITE Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Glosses are available from Sephora for $22.
