There are certain rites of passage everyone should go through before they graduate college. Pay for all your books without mom and dad’s money (at least once), road trip with your friends to a big away game, celebrate Spring Break somewhere wild. You’ve got four years to experience benchmarks like these that make the college experience so quintessential to your late teens and early twenties.
And then there are things you can solely get away with your freshman year. The things you can only justify by saying “YOLO”. The things you’ll look back on when you’re a Senior and cringe just a little. They’re the behaviors that, if attempted beyond Freshman year, will likely attract judgy looks and negative repercussions. Right now, dear Freshmen, you’re holding a Get Out of Jail (Mostly) Free card. And I’m here to help you use it in the most effective way possible.
I present to you the Essential Freshman Year Bucket List. It’s truly the only thing you’ll need to make the most of your first year on campus. As you check items off the list, take a photo and share it with us on Twitter or Instagram by using the hashtag #CCBucketList. Good luck and welcome to college!
